As locals of Sintra, we’ve designed this tour to offer an authentic experience beyond the typical tourist route. Our guides are Sintra residents with backgrounds in archaeology, history, hospitality, and tourism, sharing stories and hidden corners that most visitors never discover.

The experience is divided into three themes: Culture & Heritage, with viewpoints and explanations of landmarks such as Pena Palace, the Moorish Castle, and Sintra’s historic center; Mountain & Nature, exploring forest roads, hidden viewpoints, the Sintra hills; and Coast & Ocean, featuring Cabo da Roca, dramatic cliffs, local villages, and Atlantic beaches.

Choose from our vintage convertible jeeps for small groups, larger jeeps for up to 8 passengers, or a comfortable minivan if you prefer comfort over adventure.

Every tour is customizable, whether you prefer palaces, hidden spots, photography, nature, local food, or a relaxed day discovering Sintra like a local.

Itinéraire

Up The Mountain, amazing views of Sintra main monuments! In this tour, we start by going up the main hill of the monument where Pena Palace and Moorish castle are located. We will stop along the way on several interesting spots with historical relevance and amazing views of Sintra. After we climb the Hill, we will stop at a sightseing place of the moorish castle and the Pena Palace.

From deep into the forest to the Westernmost cliffs of Europe. We will then go deep inside the forest of Sintra, along the whole range of the mountain, until we get to Cabo da Roca, the westernmost place of Continental Europe. We will stop there for the amazing views of the Ocean and the cliffs.

The beutiful atlantic coast and a pittoresque Portuguese village,. We will then go to my favorite beach in Sintra where we will also see Azenhas do Mar, a pittoresque Village thats sits right on a cliff directly to the Ocean. We will then return to Sintra by a rural road where we will see the whole range of Sintra mountain on a distance. This tour will take between 2:30 and 3 hours.
