We will lead you out of the bustling crowds found on Old Town Square and into one of Prague's eeriest places. This area was once the dwelling place of impoverished folks, where plague and mystery were found. Now, it is usually ignored by other tours, but this area is ripe with history and intrigue. The location provides the perfect atmosphere for stories of death and disease, mysterious magic and demonic activity. Come hear about these poor spirits who haunt the dimly lit, lonely streets of Old Town after the lights are low. You never know - maybe you'll even meet one for yourself!

Be assured: there are no costumed characters lurking in the shadows to jump out and scare you. This tour is full of lively storytelling that doesn't require such antics to make a ‚scary aura‘. The mysteries, legends and tales we will tell you are all true - nothing has been made up for the sake of this tour. That alone ought to frighten you!

This is a tour for everyone, whether or not they believe in ghosts and goblins. It is designed to entertain anyone who wants to experience a different kind of Prague history, outside the stereotypical history tour.

Start of the tour. The tour begins in front of the building Tynska 627/7, Prague 1

Stop at: Long avenue. Hear the legend of a desperate female ghost whose son was kidnapped, then found and eventually executed.

Stop at: House where Manes was born. The ghost of the painter Manes, who worked on the Astronomical Clock can be still seen in a window of this house.

Stop at: St. Castulus Church. The church where the famous Prague's executioner was buried in the parish cemetery before it was abolished

Pass through: Poorest streets of medieval Prague. See the poorest streets of medieval Prague where even hopeless beggers refused to spend nights.

Stop at: High wall of St. Agnes Monastery. The ghost of unhappy daughter, killed by his own father, is still wandering around.

Stop at: St. Francis Hospital. Amputations without anesthetics - welcome to medieval hospitals.

Stop at: Spanish synagogue. Listen to a legend of famous Rabbi Loew and his ability to keep the Death away.

Stop at: St.Salvator. Mystery of 12 sculls of executed nobelmen that were lost and never found and their ghosts who have never found peace.

Stop at: Tyn Church. The church that inspired Disney´s Cinderella. Ghost of a maid who was killed by a rich noblewoman.
