Khao Yai National Park Tour from Bangkok - Full Day

Khao Yai National Park. Escape Bangkok for the day and immerse yourself in the lush beauty of Khao Yai National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Thailand’s most biodiverse natural reserves. This full-day tour is perfect for nature lovers, combining scenic jungle hikes, wildlife spotting, and visits to two of the park’s most iconic waterfalls. Start your journey early with a convenient hotel pickup or meet your guide at National Stadium BTS Station, Exit 2 (2nd floor). Travel by air-conditioned vehicle on a 3-hour drive to the northeast.

KM 33 Nong Phak Chi Trail. Begin your adventure with a guided trek along the KM 33 Nong Phak Chi Trail, where you’ll walk through dry evergreen forest, grasslands, and tall banyan trees. Keep an eye out for wildlife like monkeys, hornbills, gibbons, deer, and even signs of wild elephants and gaur. The trail ends at the Nong Phak Chi Observation Tower, an excellent spot for panoramic views and wildlife watching.

Haew Suwat Waterfall. After lunch at the national park’s canteen, continue to the famous Haew Suwat Waterfall, known for its dramatic jungle backdrop and appearance in the film The Beach. (Please note that swimming and bathing are strictly prohibited at any of Khao Yai National Park's waterfalls, including Haew Suwat Waterfall)

Lamtakong Campsite. Next, stop by the peaceful Lamtakong Campsite, where friendly deer roam freely throughout the year — a delightful photo opportunity in the heart of the park.

Haew Narok Waterfall. Cap off the day with a visit to Haew Narok Waterfall, the tallest in Khao Yai. A short trek leads to this impressive three-tiered cascade, surrounded by thick rainforest and echoing with the sound of rushing water. Return to Bangkok in the late afternoon and get dropped off at your hotel or at MBK Center.
