City of Seville. Stroll by the elegant Alfonso the XIII Hotel and the Old Tobacco Factory, real scenario for the Opera Carmen, and nowadays the University of Seville. Nearby, you will see the Golden Tower, an old defensive bastion built by the Moors at the Guadalquivir River more than eight hundred years ago.Through winding streets with outstanding architecture and full-of-mystery patios be ready to capture with your camera the three Heritage Sites by Unesco that can be seen, unexpectedly, at one glimpse: the Alcazar, the Cathedral of Seville and the Archives of the Indies.We visit the Alcazar first (with skip-the-line tickets), an impressive Mudejar Palace (the oldest of Europe) built by muslins one thousand years ago and always inhabited by different Royal Families throughout centuries. The gorgeous enclave hides a lush garden and stories of pioneer sailors who navigated the world for the first time in human history.Just after the Royal palace we continue our visit around the Santa Cruz District, an amazing labyrinth with narrow streets where the Jewish population lived in the Middle-Ages. A very quaint site remaining from that time, as a result of the coexistence of the three cultures (Jewish, Muslims and Christians).Finally, you can enjoy a panoramic visit to the largest Gothic Cathedral on earth which used to be an old mosque. You can enjoy the beauty of the mixture of Moorish and Gothic styles intermingled. Find out the mystery of Christopher Columbus remains at the Cathedral. Is he really buried here?
