Antalya Transfers — Arrival and Point-to-Point Transport

Antalya Airport is one of the busiest airports in Europe during the summer season, handling upwards of 30 million passengers a year — a volume that makes it one of the top ten busiest airports on the continent. The sheer scale of the operation means that arriving without a pre-arranged transfer can involve significant waiting time, particularly during peak arrivals in July and August when charter flights land in rapid succession throughout the day and night.

Private transfers from the airport to the city center or to the main resort areas along the coast — Lara, Konyaaltı, and the hotel strip extending eastward toward Belek — take between 20 and 45 minutes depending on destination and traffic conditions. For families traveling with luggage or groups arriving after long-haul flights, the difference between a private transfer and a shared shuttle is considerable.

The Antalya region extends for a substantial distance in both directions along the Mediterranean coast, and the distances between different resort areas mean that private transfers are often the most practical way to move around — particularly for those based in one location who want to explore others. The ruins of Aspendos lie 47 kilometers east of the city center; the Köprülü Canyon, one of the premier rafting destinations in Turkey, is roughly 90 kilometers away. Having reliable, comfortable transport makes the entire region accessible rather than just the immediate neighborhood of your hotel.
