The excursion begins at 10:00 a.m. at the location you specify. Our path to the city passes through a tunnel, with spectacular views at the beginning and a completely different, fantastic nature at the end. We will see the famous Mimino monument, Swan Lake, and the world-famous UWC college.

The Haghartsin Monastery is about 20 kilometers from Dilijan. It is surrounded by the Ljevan ridge and immersed in beautiful forests. Every meter of our spectacular road has a pavilion where many tourists stop for a picnic and to cook kebabs. The monastery complex, built in the 11th century, is a magnificent example of ancient Armenian architecture. You will also see the legendary walnut tree, which is nearly 800 years old and provides an excellent opportunity for beautiful memory photos.

Following the Haghartsin Monastery, we will travel to the Goshavank Monastery, located about 15 kilometers from Haghartsin in the same village. Mkhitar Gosh, the great ancient Armenian philosopher and historian who established the first Armenian court, built the monastery complex in 1188. In the past, famous Armenian historians, philosophers, and cultural figures went to school at Goshavank's seminary and university. You can learn about old structures in this lovely architectural complex, breathe fresh air, and take beautiful, memorable photographs. The excursion will conclude at the location of your lodging.
