The tour will begin with a visit to one of Armenia's best wineries, Armenia Wine Company, now a significant producer and exporter of high-quality wine. You will try high-quality Armenian wine and go to a museum inside a fantastic winery that welcomes more than 10,000 tourists annually. Next, you will see the Voskevaz winery in the mountainous Aragatsotn province and on the majestic Mount Aragats. It was founded in 1932 and has kept the same high-quality level for nearly a century. The Voskevaz winery uses only Armenian grape varieties in its products, and it is also a pioneer in creating Armenian dessert wines. During your visit, you will walk around the old and beautiful castle, and during the tasting, you will learn about the winery's history and the winemaking process.
Then we will follow to Gyumri, Armenia's second-largest city and one of the country's oldest settlements. The main square, monuments at every turn, and the ancient town are all famous for their unique architecture. You will eat a traditional Armenian lunch and tour the city's top sights, such as the Mother Armenia monument and the Black Fortress. Your tour guide will tell you about the architectural piece shaped like a monument to the Greek goddess of vengeance, Nemesis. You will also learn how the Black Fortress protected Armenia's western borders and kept enemies from attacking, as well as many other exciting facts about Armenian history. You will return to your accommodation at the end of the tour.
