One of the most breathtaking day trips you can do in Sicily, during which you will go from the verdant highlands of the Madonie to the sandy beaches and clear waters of Cefalù. A brand new and comfortable van will pick you up from your accommodation in Palermo or Mondello at 8.30 in the morning, and you will arrive in Castelbuono by 10.00. Prepare to be amazed by the gorgeous Ventimiglia Castle, which is rich in history and stories. It has a very important piece of Sant'Anna, the Mother of Mary, as well as many other valuable things. This beautiful medieval village is in Madonie Park and holds a lot of stories and traditions.

The tour will go through the streets of the unique historical center. We will visit the Church of the Matrix, and we will also try some typical sweets like cannoli, panettone, and nougat, which are all made by "Fiasconaro," a very famous artisan pastry shop known all over the world. Following the tour, we will discuss where you would like to have lunch. We will have lunch in Castelbuono if you want to try traditional country food like meat, cheese, salami, and wild boar. On the other hand, if you are more interested in fresh fish, we will continue to Cefalù.

The next stop on the trip will be Cefalù, which is a beautiful beach town that is often thought to be one of the most popular places to visit in Sicily. The marina, the Bastion, the Medieval Washhouse, and, last but not least, the gorgeous beach of fine sand and crystal blue water can all be seen here. The Arab-Norman Cathedral is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The city's old core is full of winding alleyways and breathtaking vistas. You will have some free time at your disposal to go shopping at the several specialty stores that are located throughout the center. After approximately one hour of travel, you will check back into your hotel in Palermo around 17.00.
