Begin the day with a walk through some of the main squares and plazas that truly transform Lisbon into a European capital. Climb to the top of Lisbon's highest hill for a breathtaking view of the sprawling city and the old Moorish quarter of Alfama. See the stunning Castle of Saint George and continue with a panoramic tour of the astonishing Jeronimos Monastery and the nearby Tower of Belem. 

In the afternoon, visit the stunning World Heritage Site of Sintra, walking through the narrow streets that lead to the top of the mountain to visit the 19th-century extravaganza of King Ferdinand: the Pena Palace.
