This private tour promises to be an unforgettable experience. You will visit the medieval town of Obidos with its charming and unique atmosphere. Its narrow streets are lined with craft shops, boutiques and cafes where you can sample the local delicacy, ginjinha, a sweet cherry liqueur. Then visit Tomar, with its mysterious Templar history and monumental church that is the symbol of the town.

All this in the comfort of a private car with an English-speaking local driver who knows the area and will be happy to share information with you. You choose your own pick-up date and time for a hassle-free door-to-door transfer. Our driver is friendly and available at all times. Itinerary

Enjoy the city by passing through the Porta da Vila and see the townscape that could be a movie set. Walk around the Rua Direita to see houses with whitewashed walls trimmed with blue or yellow borders and with bougainvillea creeping up the sides. The stop is for 3 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.

The origin of the Convent of Christ goes back to the 12th. century, when King Afonso Henriques donated the region around Tomar to the Knights Templar, and they founded a convent famed for its round church. This is now a UNESCO site, popular for what you can see and what it represents. The church is iconic for the Gothic, Manueline and Renaissance architecture. The stop is for 3 hours. The rest of the time is for transportation.
