Northern Lights Tours Bodo Norway

Join us on a small-group Northern Lights adventure from Bodø, where we follow the weather and Aurora conditions rather than a fixed route.

We go all-in to give you the best possible chance of seeing the Northern Lights. Before and during the tour, we closely monitor cloud cover, weather and Aurora activity and use our local knowledge to choose the best locations. If conditions around Bodø are not favourable, we are prepared to drive further into the countryside, sometimes all the way towards the Swedish border.

There is no fixed turnaround time. When conditions are challenging, we can stay out later and give the skies more time to clear and the Aurora more time to appear. On some nights, this means returning to Bodø as late as 2 am.

Our Northern Lights tours have had an 85% success rate in recent seasons. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed, but we put time, flexibility and local knowledge into every tour to give you the best possible chance.

You will travel in a comfortable Mercedes 7-seater 4WD van with a maximum of six guests, giving you a more personal experience with your local guide. Warm drinks and snacks are included, and warm clothing and headlamps are available if needed.

Your guide will also take high-quality photos during the tour, so you can put your camera away and enjoy the experience.
