Embark on a full-day journey from Cluj to Maramureș, the land of stunning wooden architecture. Visit two UNESCO-listed churches in Surdești and Desești, explore the charming village of Breb, and learn about its royal connections. Enjoy a traditional farm-to-table lunch and admire Maramureș' iconic wooden gates. End the day at the colorful Merry Cemetery in Săpânța before returning to Cluj in the evening. A perfect blend of history, culture, and breathtaking landscapes!

This tour involves moderate walking (2-3 hours) on varied terrain, including paved surfaces, uneven/potentially muddy ground and village hills. Be prepared for stairs without handrails at the churches and periods of standing. There will be changes in altitude. If you are prone to motion sickness, please bring appropriate medication.According to Romanian law, all children under the age of 12 or shorter than 135 cm (53 inches) must use a car seat/booster. We do not provide seats /boosters. We can only accept children who do not correspond to these criteria if you bring your own seat / booster. Comfortable shoes & sun hat in summer recommended
