Full description

Embark on an unforgettable journey to Southern Transylvania, departing from Cluj. Our first stop is Sibiu, a historic city known for its medieval charm and vibrant atmosphere. Once the most fortified town in Transylvania and the capital of the Saxons, Sibiu features landmarks like the Liars' Bridge, the Small Square, the Large Square and the Evangelical Cathedral. After lunch at a local restaurant, we’ll visit Hunedoara to explore the majestic Corvin Castle (Hunyad Castle), a Gothic masterpiece linked to the legendary Hunyadi family. In the late afternoon, we’ll return to Cluj, wrapping up this captivating exploration of Transylvania’s medieval history.

This tour includes moderate walking, with a mix of terrains ranging from paved paths to uneven ground, cobblestones and hilly areas. Inside the castle, you will encounter steep staircases, sometimes without handrails, and there is no elevator available. Expect to spend some time standing during the walks as well.According to Romanian law, all children under the age of 12 or shorter than 135 cm (53 inches) must use a car seat/booster. We do not provide seats /boosters. We can only accept children who do not correspond to these criteria if you bring your own seat / booster.The order of the visits may suffer changes Comfortable shoes & sun hat in summer; warm clothes in winter
