Start your Transylvanian journey from Cluj, visiting the Turda Salt Mine, a fascinating underground wonder. Continue with the visit of the Gothic Corvin Castle, rich in legends and the legacy of the Hunyadi family. After lunch, on the way back to Cluj, enjoy a surprise stop.

Don’t forget

This tour involves moderate walking. The terrain varies, from paved surfaces to uneven & slippery ground, cobblestones and city hills. Be prepared to descend & climb stairs. Inside the salt mine there are around 500 steps, but 90% can be avoided by taking the elevator (unless unexpected technical issues). Inside the castle you will also have to climb tall sets of stairs, sometimes without a handrail, with no elevator available. Periods of standing during walks are also common. There will be changes in altitude and temperature. It is not recommended to visit the salt mine if you have or suffer of certain lung problems, cardiovascular problems, severe claustrophobia, acrophobia (fear of heights), third-quarter pregnancy), postoperative for a period of 1-2 months. You can check all heath recommendations here . According to Romanian law, all children under the age of 12 or shorter than 135 cm (53 inches) must use a car seat/booster. We do not provide seats /boosters. We can only accept children who do not correspond to these criteria if you bring your own seat / booster. The order of the visits may suffer changes Non slippery-shoes & appropriate warm clothing recommended (the constant temperature inside the salt mine is 10-12° C / 50-54° F)
