We've found the perfect trip for you if you want to learn about history and do exciting new things. Pompeii is one of the world's most well-known and famous archaeological sites. It was destroyed by the massive eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD. That was also the year with the most significant visitors. Because the ash from the volcano preserved both the city and the people who lived there, Pompeii is today widely regarded as one of the most significant historical sites in the world.

After being picked up from your hotel or another prearranged meeting place, you will be taken to Pompeii. Your two-hour tour of the ruins of Pompeii will include a guided tour of the most important public buildings and some homes. Your guide is a licensed person from the area who knows a lot about what's left of Pompeii. You will have some time to have lunch on your own. Get in your vehicle and drive to Mount Vesuvius; go to the top of the crater; take in breathtaking views of the crater and the Gulf of Naples, and use the explanations provided by a volcanological guide on the crater (accessible).

You will return to the meeting location after the trip, and from there, you will either be taken to the hotel in Sorrento or back to the meeting spot.
