The Giza Plateau is a world-famous plateau on Cairo's outskirts. It is home to some of the world's most remarkable ancient monuments, including the most popular tourist attractions, the Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, the Egyptian royal mortuary complex, and holy structures. The Great Pyramid of Giza is the oldest of the ancient world's seven wonders, and the only one that still stands today. It is popular with travelers worldwide and Egyptians, who visit their wonders on special occasions and following holy days.
For a better experience, we will depart at 8 a.m., and your guide will meet us at your hotel and transport you to the Pyramids complex, which includes the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinos. Then we'll see the Valley Temple and the famous guardian of the Pyramids, the Sphinx. After lunch, we'll go to the Egyptian Museum, which has over 250,000 real artifacts from the old kingdom dating back 5,000 years. It also has an exclusive display of King Tutankhamun's treasures, gold, and jewelry, which were found in his tomb in the 1920s after being hidden there for over 3,500 years. Then we'll return to Cairo for a brief shopping tour of the city's most famous traditional market, Khan El Khalili souq. Fine brassware, copper, fragrances, leather, silver, gold, and other artifacts can be found here.
