Day Trip to Imlil Valley from Marrakesh in Morocco

This delightful day trip begins in Marrakech and takes you to the Imlil Valley in the High Atlas Mountains. We start in the morning, with your guide and driver picking you up from the nearest location to your hotel. First, we drive towards Zaraba and then to the modern city of Tahnaout, where we make our first stop at an Argan cooperative to explore Argan products. Next, we continue towards the Moulay Brahim Gorges, a famous filming location for the motorcycle chase scene in "Mission: Impossible II." From there, we proceed to Asni town, enjoying stunning views of the Asni villages and Imlil Valley along the way. Upon arriving in Imlil, we take a short break for tea and a restroom stop before starting a guided walk to the waterfall and through the Imlil villages. The walk is followed by a homemade lunch at our family guesthouse. After lunch, we head back down for about 20 minutes to meet our driver, who will transfer us back to Marrakech. On the way, we'll pass through the Kik Plateau and enjoy a 20-minute camel ride (optional) in Takerkoust town. The trip concludes with our return to Marrakech.
