Itinerary:
Day 1

  • Poi Kalon architectural complex
  • Visit Tween madrassah complex
  • Tea break with folk show in traditional tea house
  • Visit trading domes and have a talk about Silk Road trade in Bukhara
  • Visit Silk center to get acquainted with traditional hand made silk productions of Bukhara.
  • Visit Magoki Attari mosque from the 12 century.
  • Visit Labi Havz complex - used to be a trading center of Bukhara
  • Visit the house of silk embroiderer, cook dumplings with pumpkin ( or seasonal vegetables) and get idea about technique of traditional embroidery

Day 2
  • Visit the Ark - the residence of all Bukhara rulers
  • Visit Bolo Havz mosque from the 18 th c
  • Visit Chashma Ayub ( Prophet Job's well) mausloeum which is pilgrimage site for Muslims, Jews and Christians of Central Asia.
  • Samanids mausloeum - masterpiece of Central Asian architecture
  • Lunch - to try classic Bukhara Plov. Plov is king dish of Uzbek cuisine and every area of Uzbekistan has its own plov.
  • Visit Char minar madrassah - hidden pearl of Bukhara from the 19th c.
  • Visit the house of miniature artist and have idea about the art which was prohibited during the soviet time
