Entertainment in Athens is arranged not as a park of attractions but as a way of seeing the city differently. Quests through the old centre run without a guide: the app gives a task, you look for a detail on a façade or in a courtyard, and the city opens up through searching rather than through a lecture. The route covers Plaka, Monastiraki and the Agora, you set the pace yourself, and nobody stops you pausing for coffee.

A separate branch is the mythological one. The Minotaur Code turns Greek myths into a chain of riddles across the city, and it is the one format where children drag the adults forward rather than the reverse.

The evening part has a different mood: dinners with a traditional Greek show, where by the end the whole room is pulled into the sirtaki, and food walks through the floodlit centre with stops at a mezedopolio. Practical notes: quests need a phone with internet and a charged battery — the route takes two or three hours. You play at your own pace and the start time is free, but walking in the July midday sun is hard, so morning or evening is better. Come hungry to the dinner show: meze arrives by the dozen plates.
