Entertainment in Side

8 experiences Antalya District

Side's evening programme rests on two shows. The Turkish Night is an open buffet with folk dancing from several regions of the country and live music, sold all-inclusive with hotel transfer. The other is the night show at Land of Legends near Belek, roughly forty kilometres away: fountains, lighting and projection onto a screen of water. Coaches run there both as a separate evening trip and together with a daytime ticket to the park itself.

Daytime offers something different. The dolphinarium runs a half-hour performance, while Seapark invites you to swim rather than watch — an aquarium pool where real sea creatures move alongside you. The pirate ship Legend Big Kral collects from Side for seven hours of games, music and swimming stops. The Green Canyon cruise is quieter: a boat, lunch on board, two or three swims in the cold reservoir water.

Side has nightlife of its own, but the loudest format is driven to Alanya — a bar tour with a boat ride and a foam party, about an hour away. Worth checking at booking: whether the return transfer is included and how late it runs, because some programmes finish after midnight. In high season evening departures sell out ahead of time, the Turkish Night at weekends especially.
