The full-day tour with a local guide will allow you to appreciate the treasures of Nuwara Eliya that is considered to be the most important location for tea production in Sri Lanka. Also called Little England, it served as a retreat for the British colonialists, and many of its buildings retain features from the colonial period, including Queen's Cottage, General's House, Grand Hotel, Hill Club, St Andrew's Hotel and Town Post Office. Among other locations, you will visit Ramboda waterfall, as well as Tea Estate, a famous tea farm just outside of the city that is known for its cultivation of Pure Ceylon Tea.
