También visitaremos la mágica sierra de Montsant, con sus históricos edificios religiosos alrededor.
Itinerary
Barcelona - Lleida
A vertiginous zigzag staircase allows us to reach the partially excavated path in the middle of the vertical wall, which leads to the top of the nature reserve and the Montsec from where the view of the Pyrenees is unparalleled. Along the way, it is very likely that we can find a large number of birds such as griffon vultures, golden eagles, Egyptian vultures and bearded vultures, as well as different species of bats.
In the afternoon we will travel to the historic city of Lleida, where an amalgam of towns and civilizations has left a rich and restless cultural legacy that is reflected in the modern city that it is today. We will visit the essential points of the city: La Seu Vella, Romanesque cathedral from the 17th century XIII, the most emblematic monument of the city Palau de la Paeria The ruins of the Gardeny Castell Templer Church of Sant Llorenç The streets of the historic center Parc dels Camps Elisis
Accommodation in tourist class hotel
Lleida - Montsant - Barcelona
A perfect place for hiking, incredible views and a variety of enviable activities on the site. Hidden corners, caves, views that reach the sea, seeing the Cape of Salou and Siurana reservoir on clear days.
After our adventure through the Serra de Montsant, we will travel to the ruins of Scala Dei, a place steeped in history in a unique environment. There, the first Carthusian monastery of Spain was established: its centuries of history and looting, and the various turbulent stages that it has passed, have taken its toll. Nowadays only the ruins remain partially preserved, but visiting the rooms where the Carthusians spent hours, days and years in the most absolute silence is immersed fully in history.
We will visit these wine cellars, with designation of origin, to learn about the wine culture, which has led this small region to be recognized by the best sommeliers
