Itinerary

Day 1: Machame Gate to Machame Camp. Drive from Moshi to Machame Gate for registration. Begin your trek through the lush rainforest to Machame Camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2: Machame Camp to Shira 2 Camp. Leave the rainforest and continue on an ascending path across the Shira Plateau, offering stunning views of Kibo peak.

Day 3: Shira 2 Camp to Lava Tower to Barranco Camp. Trek to Lava Tower (4,630m) for acclimatization, then descend to the beautiful Barranco Camp for the night.

Day 4: Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp. Climb the Great Barranco Wall, a fun and scenic scramble, then continue to Karanga Camp for lunch and rest.

Day 5: Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp. A steady climb through the alpine desert to Barafu Camp (Base Camp). Rest early to prepare for the midnight summit push.

Day 6: Summit Day - Uhuru Peak & Descent. Reach the roof of Africa at Uhuru Peak (5,895m) for sunrise. Celebrate your success before descending to Mweka Camp.

Day 7: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate. A final walk through the forest to Mweka Gate to collect your certificates, followed by a drive back to Moshi.
