Please note: Eating lobster at the buffet is an extra service that you can book separately when you purchase the excursion. Please bring with you: a good sunscreen because Saona Island is a hot island, a beach towel, sunglasses to protect your eyes against the sun rays, money in case you want to buy some souvenirs of the country.

On the tour, you will head to Saona Island at the southeast of the Dominican Republic, having drinks and enjoying local music on a catamaran. The island is a part of the Parque Nacional del Este, and it features mangroves, coral reefs and beaches with incredible yellow sand and aracaceae palm trees. Remarkably, there are also no waves on the island and the water is shallow. The tour will include snorkeling with a professional instructor, so you will see the marine fauna and lots of starfish. Later, you will try Dominican Creole food for lunch and learn how to dance to Dominican songs from the tour's entertainment group.

Itinerary:

07:00 - Pick up from your hotel to the meeting point.
08:30 - Departure by bus from our meeting point to Bayahibe.
10:30 - Arrival at Bayahibe, very close to La Romana, where youll embark in catamaran to Saona Island.
10:45 - Time to board to the catamaran, where you can taste local drinks and enjoy the boat's entertainment group to the rhythm of Dominican music.
11:45 - Arrival at Saona Island. The reason for this excursion begins, and as soon as you set foot on dry land you can start enjoying the unique landscape of beaches and jungle while we prepare lunch.
13:00 - Lunch time in our open buffet that weve prepared in other to taste to Dominican cuisine.
14:30 - Entertaining with our entertainment team that will teach you how to dance the typical Dominican music.
15:30 - Return by boat to Bayahibe, pausing at the natural pool to watch the starfish.
17:00 - Back transportation to your hotel to rest after a wonderful day.
18:00 - End of the excursion.
