Begin at the Giza Plateau, home of the last surviving wonder of the ancient world, exploring the Three Great Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Continue to Saqqara to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the world's oldest stone monument, before ending in Memphis, the first capital of unified Egypt, where the colossal statue of Ramesses II and the ancient alabaster Sphinx still stand.
Please note: Wear comfortable walking shoes, as several stops involve walking on sand and uneven terrain. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and water for the outdoor sites. Mornings are ideal, offering cooler temperatures and fewer crowds.
