Full description

Visit our natural park of Monte Verde and its wonders. Reach the highest point on the Island by hiking, take in the fresh mountain air, witness the flowers, endemic plants and animals that make Monte Verde their home. Have a cup of tea or coffee at the Tea House while enjoying the panoramic view of the city and the surrounding islands. In the distance, the mountains and valleys of Selada da Baleia, Feijoal Preto, Goa Mountains, Calhau, and on clear days you will be able to see the Islands of Santo Antão, Santa Luzia, and São Nicolau, and the islets Branco and Raso.

Itinerary

Pick up Mindelo. Pick up at accommodation in Mindelo or meet at Cultural Center of Mindelo (let us know your preferred location?)

Drive through Mindelo Villages to reach Monte Verde. Witness the daily lifestyle of the people of Mindelo. See the construction of homes and importance of community

Base of the Mountain. Reaching the base of Monte Verde, you will be guided to the mountainside path where we will ascend to the highest point on São Vicente

Summit of Monte Verde & Tea House. Refreshing and rewarding the hike up to the top is well worth the contact with nature, the fresh air, amazing views, and the opportunity to have a tasting at the Tea House (depends on availability) 

Mindelo. Enjoy a private transfer back to your accommodation
