Here you will visit the Sevanavank Monastery, built by Princess Mariam in the 9th century in honor of her late husband. Then you will visit Dilijan, also called "Little Switzerland in Armenia" for its fantastic natural forests. The town is part of the Dilijan National Park. You will stop at the 10th century Haghartsin Monastery, recently renovated with a donation from Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, the ruler of Sharjah, who was impressed by the monastery during his visit. The Haghartsin Refectory is the largest among Armenian church architecture; it was an absolute innovation of its time. One of the most important tourist destinations in Armenia is carefully "hidden" in Dilijan, among marvelous natural wonders, creating an unforgettable picture. We are talking about Lake Parz Lake (Transparent Lake). It is regally spread out in Dilijan National Park, in the northern part of Dilijan city, at an altitude of 1400 meters above sea level. During the tour you will visit the monument to Mimino. The characters of Frunzik Mkrtchyan (Ruben Khachikyan), Valiko Mizandari (Vakhtang Kikabidze) and Ivan Volokhov (Yevgeny Leonov) symbolize the friendship of three nations: Armenian, Georgian and Russian. This bronze composition is not just a tribute to the legendary film, but also a symbol of sincere human relationships.
