The amphitheatre and the Balcó del Mediterrani sit in full sun with no shade for most of the day, so an earlier start suits both games better than midday. The old town is a ten-to-fifteen-minute walk up from the train station, worth building into the timing; August fills it fastest, when the beach crowds along the coast peak.
